Evan Saugstad has been elected as Mayor of Chetwynd . Saugstad defeated Lorrie Potts 273 to 215 tonight.

Elected to council were Laverne Noris, Joanne Roberts, Kathy Weaver, Merlin Nichols, Bob Nicholson and Brenda Maisey.
