Local Support for Asian Earthquake Relief

Red Cross Regional Director Chris Rose accepts a cheque from Treasurer Harnam Bansal, President Pritam Chahal, and in the back row, Ajaib Singh and Priest Gian Singh.

Once again, the Guru Gobind Singh Temple Association has come through with a donation to aid disaster relief.

This time, the Association handed over a cheque for $5,000.00 to the Red Cross.

Red Cross Regional Director Chris Rose says the Temple Association has always been very generous in its response to reief efforts "The association donated $10,000. to the tsunami relief effort, and has a long history of financial support for those in need. The Temple's contribution are very much appreciated."

Temple Association President, Gian Singh says "We are just doing our share, fulfilling our duty."
