102 STRIKES, YOU ARE OUT ???????
rehab is not going to help. Lets keep the rest of society safe. Lock him up and throw away the key.
101 previous convictions? If that is accurate, what in hell is going on with our ( so called ) justice system???
This loser would be doing hard time if he did his crime south of the 49th parallel.
As I understand it, the Yanks give you three strikes, then you go to jail for a long time, not a good time.
It is obvious to me that here is a 42 year old who knows the system, and has no intention of ever leading a law abiding life. Hopefully, he will meet justice some time soon, like if he rips off the wrong person sort of (rough) justice. What good is a person to society if he has 101 + convictions? There should be a cure for this sort of blight. Pruning?
metalman.
Last week we talked about plea deals that get criminals off for snitching or agreeing to a lesser charge... and how it victimizes the victims and in no way provides justice. This is a prime example of the results of the plea deal system we call justice IMO.

I'll be willing to bet the first thing he asked for when arrested was who can he talk to to make a deal (101 so far by the looks of it).. he has some inside information the police might find very valuable.... Minor credit card criminals are seen as assets for the police while they are out on the street, and if they snitch lots they are the RCMP's best friend... but your worst nightmare.
Well metalman, to answer your question, it is called a justice system but really it is a retribution and containment system.
Justice would imply that the victim is compensated. The only thing that happens is we send convicted persons to 3 free a day plus room and recreation at a cost of about a million dollars or more a year

Retributive justice regulates proportionate response to crime proven by lawful evidence, so that punishment is justly imposed and considered as morally-correct and fully deserved. Retribution also means prosperity, prosperity results in crime prevention.
Seriously why not get in touch with Guinness World Records? Maybe PG has a winner in his category?
Oh my god how will he finish his christmas shopping now
HE steals HER card, and none of the merchants noticed a woman's name on the card?
Oh my god how will he finish his christmas shopping now
good point hartbooks.............the money blinded them?
We just don't know what to do with this fellow. He's not really that dangerous. He's not really a bad person. He could be rehabilitated, but he just can't help himself. Poor fellow. He just likes buying stuff, like everybody else. So, just where should we put him?
You must have an extra room in your house Chester. Just remember to hide your valuables when you leave the house.
