On Friday, December 19th, on this site 140,958 pages were read. Based on our readers that would mean 42,287 pages were read by people not in the immediate area, that includes an audience vacationing in the south, or people who are in other parts of the world who want to know what's going on at home, or Prince George.
That will continue to be reason enough for us to continue to post this information.

Global warming is perhaps an inappropriate term. In the long run many scientists suggest that 'global warming' will lead to the entire planet being in a deep freeze that will kill everything as the change in temperature manipulates air flows. I really dont understand it but the bottom line is that 'global warming' is really about erratic climate change as the result of carbon emissions. So basically no, this doesnt change anything. Global warming exists just like the world is round and smoking causes cancer. There will always be people that are slower to accept reality and wont change their behaviour until it is to late.

BORN... Hey pal only 4% of the carbon emissions are caused by man. As much as it may be a good thing to curb polution, I don't think that all of these green programs are going to totally stop global warming. The world is evolving as it should, regardless of mans footprint. The GREEN THING is a huge money making scam. Thank you Al Gore.

Forget the 'global warming' moniker. Go to a city like Shanghai, New York, Toronto, LA, Vancouver on a calm day and tell me nothing needs to be done with pollution.

They don't even fly the good year blimp in LA anymore cause no one can see it through the pollution.

You may actually get more snow due to global warming. Geographical areas that historically had very cold clear days may now get cloudy, snow filled days due to these effects.

Born in BC, many scientists, real climatic scientists are skeptics and I think my scientists are smarter than your scientists. The earth is entering a cooling phase, started five years ago. Gore who is making a lot of money on this warming scam, he said ten years ago the earth would reach uncontrolled warming in ten years. Well its been ten years and he is still saying ten years. You can't make climate with a computer program.

It then becomes we should not be putting more greenhouse gases in the air because of global cooling. Global warming .... global cooling.

Basically we have more cloudy days and a lower temperature fluctuation. Cooler summer, warmer winters. Have we hit -40 yet around here? Until we do, this year will be another warmer winter from the point of view of "what have been the coldest days in PG, how long was the run, and what was the frequency".

Greenhouse gas, what a croc. This is unproven science. C02 is .04% of the atmosphere. Mankinds contribution to that is 4% and Canada's contribution to that is 1%. Besides the more C02 there is, the less effect. There was higher Co2 before the industrial age than now. Lots of scientists are making good money off this scam and they keep fudging Co2 and temperature reading to match their programs, as these programs they use for predictions are not working out very well. Also sea levels are not rising. that is another big lie.

People now call it climate change so no matter what the weather is like it can be blamed on global warming.

If I could afford the fuel I would idle my
big fuel guzzling 4x4 24 hours a day in order to cause some global warming around here! BRRRRRR!! LOL

Well as it says -34 at my house this morning my car is sure complaining this morning about starting. -26 no problem but amazing what a few more degrees does.

Rant on gentleman. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know the globe is changing. Floods in Venice, islands disappearing in the South Pacific. Ocean levels are increasing. If you don't want to open your eyes that is your problem but it would be a relief if you did a little research on your own instead of bolstering one another in your lack of knowledge.

-Thats called Geology lamb. It would be happening if we were living on this planet or not. Those places are on faults that slip into the ocean at about 1cm per anum. The history of the world is written in time and these events have been documented in the rocks.

Now as far as climate change is concerened im not buying the chicken little theory that everyting is going to be doomed. The language has been changed and theorys invented to fit someone elses agenda and to get the rest of us to conform to it. I admit the climate change alarmists do promote a good show and are greater salesmen too bad the geologists dont get to share their side of the story. However i think there is more we can do to conserve resources and to reduce pollution.
