Minor Injuries In Caledonia Trailer Park Fire

Prince George -      Damage is estimated at about $20,000 dollars in a fire that caused extensive damage to a home in the Caledonia Trailer Park this afternoon.

 

The fire was reported at 12.50pm. and 19 firefighters from 4 halls responded to the fire.

 

Two people were at home at the time of the fire. One resident working on some frozen pipes under the trailer received minor burns when materials around him caught fire as he worked to try and thaw out some water lines.

 

 He was treated at the scene for minor burns and then taken to hospital.

 

The fire department says the fire was accidental.

That was a cheap shot, I hope imorg has never made any mistakes in his/her life. Seriously tho - don't unthaw your frozen pipes with direct flame, you're asking for it! Take the extra time to do right.
There was a gas leak that no one knew about otherwise he would not have been under checking with an open flame. It did not catch fire it blew up. It is lucky my co-worker is still alive.

So why was he under there with an open flame at all?

Haven't seen any reports anywhere that says this was anything other than a fire.
