I drove around quite a bit on Friday looking for bargains and saw 1 sanding truck all day.
and how much of a bargain was that?
You didnt say if you bought the sand truck. If so please get some sand on my street at Ospika. Thanks in advance. And have a busy happy New Year.

Cheers
I bet the sanding truck was just driving around putting on the hours to justify the budget. They do that. They say they don't, but they do.
Actually i seen a sand truck as well, and sand was a falling out the back...wasn't a city truck though.....
Oh some people are sooo simple minded when it comes to city workers and snow removal. Do you actually think they are that lazy and thoughtless as to hide when there is snow to be plowed? They actually have to be accountable at the end of a shift and they have families and friends using the roads as well. They are just the pee ons. Their orders come from bosses and these bosses do check on their progross throughout the day or night. So grow up and smell the coffee, Harbinger.
I agree with Harbinger, The roads are not done and the city blew 4 million already, my cousin worked on the streets division and I know what they do. I had to do deliveries all day today and not one city truck out. They should be specialy at intersections like 10th and Carned, you have to start breaking about Gilette St to stop at Carney, that is not called sanding. The P.G, Pulpmill road was not done at all, so where is all the money going.
Maybe if you slowed down a bit you might be able to stop on time.... Just a thought.
My car doesn't stop on a dime anymore. It stops on 8.2 cents.
