Quesnel Firefighters Battle Car Fire...in a Garage

Quesnel, B.C. - The Quesnel Volunteer Fire Department was called out to a vehicle that caught fire in a West Quesnel garage earlier this  week.

Crews were called to a home on Hartley Street shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday.  Fire Chief Rick Raynor says firefighters managed to keep the blaze from consuming a nearby home, but the garage and a Honda Civic were destroyed by the fire.

Raynor says there were no inuries and the blaze is not considered suspicious.

The cause of the fire has not been released.
