Quesnel, B.C. - Police and emergency crews responded to the Quesnel Airport Friday afternoon for an incident involving a small plane. RCMP say the Cessna had landed without incident, but as it was begining to taxi into the staging area, it was hit with a blast of wind.
Police say the gust of wind flipped the plane onto its roof. The aircraft suffered extensive damage, but the two people inside walked away from the plane unharmed.
RCMP have advised the Transportation Safety Board about the incident. The TSB is investigating.
