Prince George, B.C. - No one hurt, but a mobile home has been destoyed by an early morning fire.

Shortly before 1:00 this morning, Prince George Fire Rescue sent 16 firefighters from four halls to a fire at the Sunrise Mobile Home Park on Landsdowne Road.

On arrival, crews saw flames coming from the front windows and the roof of the mobile home. Although firefighters were unable to save the mobile home, they were able to prevent the fire from spreading to other units.

Two residents were at home and asleep when the fire broke out. They were alerted to the danger by their barking dog. They managed to escape the blaze without serious injury.

The dollar loss is estimated at approximately $40,000. A preliminary investigation suggests the fire is not suspicious in nature. Investigators will be on scene today to determine the origin and cause of the fire.

Oh boy, when are they gonna force the owner to clean it up.
After all this is a notorious area for undesirable family units, that is why they live there, not because they are economically challenged. The city is supposed make sure that when any tragic event occurs the cleanup is expedited immediately.

The city needs to get after this negligent owner right away. I mean the house burned down yesterday.
Prob cooking up crack on there stove when suddenly it turned bad.
