Prince George, B.C.- By this time tomorrow, Prince George will have a new RCMP Superintendent to take charge of the Prince George RCMP detachment.
The successful candidate will be introduced to members of the media tomorrow morning at 10:30.
The detachment has lost two of its top managers. Superintendent Dahl Chambers left to take on new duties at E Division Headquarters in Vancouver, while Inspector Kirke Hopkins has moved to take on new responsibilities in Fort McMurray Alberta. Staff Sergeant Chris Bomfurd has moved into the post that was vacated by Hopkins and is expected to recieve Inspector ranking soon.
The search for a new Superintendent was whittled down to four candidates, including one woman.
