Prince George, B.C.- A 43 year old man from Terrace is in Prince George Hospital in critical condition following an altercation in Burns Lake.

Burns Lake RCMP say  they were called to Burns Lake hospital Sunday night after the victim, suffering from a severe head injury, had been dropped off at the hospital.

The RCMP investigation to date indicates that 2 adult males, 1 formerly from Salmon Arm and the second from Prince George, came into Burns Lake from their temporary residence near Grassy Plains. The two males met up with the victim and a physical confrontation occurred between the victim and the 25 yr old male from Salmon Arm. During the altercation the victim was struck in the face and fell to the ground. The two males then took the victim to the hospital for medical treatment.

The 25 yr old male has since been arrested and subsequently charged with Aggravated Assault. He has been released on bail. The investigation is ongoing.

Well at least they never left him to die... that will count for something I'm sure. More integrity than some RCMP officers we've seen lately.
Give it a break eagle...
why does everyone paint the whole police force with the same coat of paint?
Because this is OPINION 250.
We are all free to express an opinion, be it right or wrong in the eyes of others.

that would be an oxymoron
The public should keep painting them with the same brush. Until some action is taken to resolve the problem. Just like when you were young. The whole class stays after school, until the guilty one does the right thing.

Betcha the stabbee couldn't produce a medical card. That's OK. I'll pay for that. "Will that be sutures or staples, Sir? The law abiding gent in front of his computer will pick up the tab. Have a nice day, y'all"
Am i missing something? WHo got stabbed? I though the just got punched. I am driven toagree with Eagleone. It was good that they brought him to get help. All sniping aside, a lot of folk would not have done so.
