Minor Fire on Willow Cale Road

Prince George, B.C.- Shortly before 4:30 PM, Prince George Fire Rescue responded 12 firefighters in 3 trucks to smoke in a buiding at "North West Wood Preservers", 10553 Willow Cale Rd.
On arrival crews found smoke coming from the attic area of the main office building. Further investigation revealed a small smoldering fire from an electrical short in the attic space.
The fire was extinguished with minimal damage to the structure or the contents. There were no injuries. The mill's day shift crew was just finishing for the day and it is expected that there will be no loss of production time.
