I thought circus animals were banned in PG ?
these are not circus animals, they are very well trained farm utility animals.
Originally trained for military service.
Now they are just an entertainment.
Horses are used in circuses as they are in other areas.

What is banned in PG and some other cities are exotic animals. Horses are no longer exotic animals in Canada and the Americas.
Lipizzaner Stallions, I thought they were considered exotic animals cause they are only breed now for entertainment purposes.

I could be totally way off base here, and I am sure that SOMEONE will correct me!! LOL
In some parts of the world, elephants are used like horses. You can have a horse in your circus act, but not an elephant.

I wonder if they ban horses in circus acts, in parts of the world where they use elephants ?

Are there any ballet elephants in those parts of the world ?

Sounds really crazy, doesn't it ?
I thought an exotic animal was a sheep in fishnet stockings and garters. Sp, what do I know ?
Well, I guess if you're going to ban the Lipizzaners then the RCMP musical ride should also be banned. While we're at it, there should be no more 4H clubs, Pony Club or horse shows because these all exploit animals as well. We should only be allowing our children to watch TV, play X-Box and eat processed foods out of vending machines at school.
Well bigdog you just described Kathy's dream world - I'm sure she's planning her lobbying campaign to make it happen - and of course, city hall will act just to keep her quiet.
