Fire Closes Section of Highway 97

Cache Creek, B.C. - A forest fire has forced the closure of Highway 97 between Cache Creek and Highway 24.

Northbound traffic is being rerouted to highway 5 to Highway 24 then back on to Highway 97, while southbound traffic is being directed to take highway 24 to Highway 5 and south to Kamloops.
