I think a picture, and even use the caption, "a person of interest" or "wish to talk with this person", no need for caption armed robber, might help to find this suspect if we knew what he looked like....male Caucasian....that covers a good portion of our population don't you think?
"He is five foot eight inches tall, 140 to 160 lbs. and has blonde hair, a goatee and tattoos on his legs."

This kind of describes what he looks like no?

It would help to take 5 seconds next time and finish reading the 8 line article.
Okay, how many young guys are there out there who DON'T have a goatee and tattoos?
I think it might be easier to spot someone who has not yet slavishly followed the trends set by "celebrities" and wannabees, who chooses to be really different and NOT get tattooed, and NOT grow a silly looking fuzzy little brush on his chin and put fishing tackle in his ears and nose and eyebrows, now there is an individual.
metalman.
Have you ever been a victim of a robbery? And had no witnesses? Most victims of robberies go into a state of shock and have little memory of the assailant's physical description and other details of the incident. I think the description that was provided had enough detail that someone could identify the culprit.
Hmmmmmm, security cameras sure is handy. Maybe real smart businesses will by the best cameras to get a clear shot of what they look like.

Times are getting pretty tough for some of these people. Some of us have jobs to feed our families. Some people have to steal to feed their families. I am not saying that they are people in need to feed their families, but its getting pretty tough out there.

There is going to be more crime, we need to be aware of this, and not make it any easier for them.

Maybe we need to take a look at our own neighbourhood, and find out if there are families that are in need. Maybe we need to become more aware of what is going on in our neighbourhood and help each other out a bit more. Its easy to say its not my problem, but once in a while we need to make it our problem and reach out and help someone.
Five foot eight? 140 to 160 pounds? Drat!! I can't find my understandable scale to metric conversion table. Now I will never be able to identify him. How about metric dimensions? That is what they teach in schools these days, don't they?
Metric... ya must be a youngin.
you know what we haven't had in a long long long time...... a good old hangin'. Nothing like a hanging to bring a community together and make them bad guys think twice.
Times are tough so people are going to steal to feed their family??? Does this EVER really happen? I know they took a few packs of cigs at the last two robberies. MAybe they are stealing to keep their families in smokes. Cut the crap, people in canada dont need to steal to feed their families, ever. Unless of course they smoked/drank /injected ALL their food money away so now they need a few bucks to drive down to welfare for emergency funds (unless of course they meet someone interesting on the way....).
I believe leg tatoos are hard to see if they are wearing pants....
So get people to drop em before you let em in the store!
Just another event where the public is not allowed to protect themselves. As if the RCMP could do it. They Can't be everywhere and that means they show up after the crime is committed. To protect and serve? Protect my butt! If every store had a gun behind the counter, this crap would rarely,if ever, happen. If I owned a store - - there would be a gun behind the counter regardless of consequences but you can be sure I would not be a victim except to our useless 'gun laws'.
However, let me assure you that the RCMP WOULD show up to prosecute the gun owner for a myriad of crimes. Thats how it works.
Correct. I just read about a miner (Allen Carlos)in the Yukon who spent 75,000 dollars during a three year peoiod to get his mint collection of firearms back from the RCMP. The illustriuos justice system amused itself spening 2.7 million to prosecute a whitehorse man for no apparent reason. It was all lies from female government employees, the CBC and RCMP. In the end they confiscated 3 of his hand guns. The law says that 'a person who has committed sin in the state's eyes, in which items have been seized and kept in custody, must be forefeited to the state without compensation and to be "disposed of"'. It does not say 'destroyed'. It's an incredible story and so upsetting. http://www.rfcsask.ca/CarlosBackgroundArticle2.htm
