Decker Lake School Reopens Today

Prince George, B.C.- Decker Lake Elementary School will reopen today, a little over a week since three cases of H1N1 flu were confirmed at the school .
As of Saturday, the number of confirmed cases of H1N1 in Northern Health were 13, and in the Province, 79. The increase in numbers is said to represent a catch up in the lab work at the BC Centre for Disease Control.
British Columbia continues to monitor and respond to the recent spread of the novel
H1N1 flu virus (human swine flu).
British Columbia’s confirmed cases include:
- Thirteen in Northern Health.
- Thirty-two in Fraser Health;
- Two in Interior Health;
- Twenty-two in Vancouver Coastal Health; and
- Ten on Vancouver Island.
