Terrace RCMP say they have received several tips since requesting help in trying to locate Tamara Chipman.
It is too early to tell if the information they have been given will help, but Staff Sergeant Eric Stubbs says several leads are being followed.
The 22 year old mother of two hasn't been seen since September 21st when she started hitch-hiking home to Terrace from Prince Rupert. Tamara was last seen on Highway 16 near the industrial park outside of Prince Rupert.
Stubbs says initially, Tamara's family beleived they could locate her, as they have extended family throughout the province. As time passed, they realized they needed help and turned to the RCMP for assistance.
