Two More cases of H1N1 in Northern Health

Victoria, B.C.- There are two new confirmed cases of H1N1 flu in the  Northern Health region. There are a total of 114 cases in the province with individuals having either recovered or recovering.

New cases include five in Fraser Health, four in Vancouver Coastal Health, two in Northern Health, one in Interior Health and two on Vancouver Island.

The new cases in the province bring the regional totals of confirmed cases to:

  • Fifteen on Vancouver Island.
    Thirty-one in Vancouver Coastal Health.
    Twenty-two in Northern Health.
    Three in Interior Health.

 

Clinicians and public health partners across the province have increased vigilance and will continue to report unusual clusters or cases of severe respiratory illnesses.

 

Forty-three in Fraser Health.
