Are You Holding the Winning Lotto 649 Ticket?

Prince George, B.C.- The winning ticket in the Lotto 6-49 draw tonight, worth more than $49 million dollars, was sold in Western Canada.

Here are the winning numbers:

04, 22, 26, 29, 39, 48

and the bonus number was 31.

That single ticket is worth $49,851,871.00.

There was just one winning ticket that had all 6 of the numbers, but there were several winners of tickets with 5 of the 6 numbers plus the bonus number. Each of those tickets is worth $292,297.50 .One such ticket was sold in Penticton, one was sold in Campbell River. There were also 2 sold in Western Canada, 6 sold in Ontario, 1 in Quebec, 3 in Atlantic Canada.

according to the Lottery Corporation, we are not considered Western Canada. That region only goes as far as the Alberta/ B.C. border. We are in a class of our own, British Columbia. It is true, check it out!

Anyway, Edmonton is where it was sold! I'll be off to work shortly...lol

It would be nice if they took the 49 million and drew for 49 x one million dollar winners? Just a nice thought...now I will get back to work. *Grin

There is something I totally agree with, Caring Soul, no limit to the jackpot, but one million dollar maximum winner, making in this case, 49 millionaires, think of the taxes collected on all of the things that a new millionaire would buy! Heck, we might get the roads fixed for once!
