Prince George, B.C.- The repair of a hydro pole that was knocked out as a result of a vehicle crash early this morning left more than a thousand customers without power for several hours.

As the photo above shows, the lines had to be lifted in order for the pole to be   put back in place.

While the loss of power may have left some in a less than good mood to start their Friday, the flag person did all he could to put a smile on the face of drivers who had to wait their turn before being allowed their turn in the single alternating traffic flow.

At right, you can see the one lane is blocked and a flag person waits to control the flow of traffic.

 It is the photo below that tells the real tale as this flag person was certainly in a Friday frame of mind!
