Building Permit Numbers Down

Prince George, B.C. - The number and value of building permits in Prince George last month, has dropped nearly in half of where it was a year ago.
According to the stats to be presented to Council on Monday night, the significant permits issued last month were for:
An addition and renovation to a single family home on Dezell Drive ($200,000)
Construction of 5 single family homes with a combined value of $1,178,975.
There was one industrial development permit, and that was for the development of an 891.84 sq meter warehouse for RONA on Cowart Road.

Not sure how much longer they will be in business for, but Dollar Save has some really good prices on lumber these days. Right now is a good time to buy IMO for people that have money and need to build something.
