NCP fire,  (opinion 250 archive)

Prince George, B.C.- It was one year ago today that North Central Plywood went up in flames,  taking it with it the  jobs of 260  people.

What started  as a thick plume of smoke, visible throughout the city,  ended up lighting up the night sky.  Debris was carried throughout the city  but the fallout continues.

Some have not been able to find  new work,  others have left to take on new  trades, some took early retirment, but all  will remember the night that changed their lives.

Opinion 250 offers this  brief video of some of the images  from that time.

taking it with it the jobs of 260 people.

260 direct jobs, there are alot of indirect jobs lost from the fire.

sorry if I'm nitpicking,I just think it should be mentioned.
Rumour has it that CANFOR purchased the property from CN after the fire.

I wonder what CANFOR is planning for this location.
