Prince George B.C.- One man is facing drug related charges after RCMP executed a firearms warrant on a residence in the 2200 block of Norwood Street.
Early yesterday, members of the Emergency Response Team, and Drug section went to the home where they found two males and a female inside.
Police did not locate any firearms, but did find crack cocaine along with drug trafficking paraphernalia.
One adult male has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Police say they had received many calls from concerned citizens about activities at this residence.

Back out on the street already, no doubt.
metalman.
hmmm less than a small drop in the bucket.
I wonder what this cost the taxpayers and it really doesn't do anything.
Numerous complaints. Should of burnt the place down after 2. Get rid of the scum that is ruining people' lives.
Why all the negativity?
People complained, RCMP did their job and a dealer was arrested.
Good job!
Whether he is back on the street by now is of little consequence. it is if he will be convicted and sentenced to a real jail term that we need to be concerned with.
Hopefully the RCMP has done their homework, crossed all the T's and dotted all the I's.

That neighborhood is notorious for drug activity, but that can be attributed to the affluence (lack off) for the residents. It might help if there were some foot patrols and step up the cruisers in the area.
Crack is so harmfull! Watched a relative go from owning a business to nothing left due to this drug. He turned into a thieving scum bag from an upstanding citizen. Amazing transformations this drug creates in humans. I am sure a few crack addicts are going to go off the deep end if their supplier is out of business. Could create more news in the end.
I'm with Loki and Shellshadow on this one. People complained and the police did their job.

Shellshadow is right on the money.
I agree. Police did their job. Unfortunately one crack shack goes down and another springs up. Seems to be no backup from the city to the police with regards to the absentee owners renting to people waving the cash. The only good thing is when one rival burns out another....insurance won't pay the homeowner if its a criminal enterprize. Perhaps the police and insurance companies can liase and share information???
dude: you are under the impression that these are coordinated enterprises. They are not though some are through organized crime. The RCMP have merely shut down one independent operator, leaving tens or even hundreds of others ranging from unknown by the authorities to well known.
In the lower mainland recently a crack shack was busted and now the citizens of BC own a distressed property that is being sold for over $250 K. This most recent premises should be confiscated and then sold to a new owner. Maybe if the owners of these properties were to lose their real estate, they would be more concerned with who is renting them and the activities that take place on that property.
Loki,
Sometimes the Landlord has no idea what the renters will turn out to be.
Even if the landlord finds out that his tenants are drug dealers or whatever, The Landlord is powerless against the BC Landlard and tenants Branch.
The Landlord and Tenants Branch supports scum Bag Tenants.
Landlords dont have the power to kick someone out of their premises.
Scum bags play the game/system.

One Crack house down 500 to go.
It seems every corner theres a Crack house.
If I catch the crack head that broke into my car last weekend he is in for a suprise.
I won't be dialing 911.The bait is set.
You might not want to put that in writing.
