Residents in the North Cariboo may have noticed a line item on their statement referring to C Cariboo Rec. North Cariboo residents are not responsible for this amount as it is strictly a Central Cariboo service, applicable only to residents within the Central Cariboo Recreation boundary.

 

Although it does not show on their current year’s tax notice, residents within the Central Cariboo Recreation Boundary are still responsible for this taxation. The Surveyor of Taxes office has assured it will issue a Notice of Revised Taxes mid June.

 

Taxes are to be paid at the Government Agency office, which is aware of the situation.
