Chilcotin Man Charged in Border Bust

Osoyoos, B.C.- A Chilcotin man is one of two people charged after a large drug bust in Osoyoos earlier this month.

RCMP say 23 year old Lee Louie Myers of Hanceville is in custody along with a 31 year old Surrey woman after a drug seizure at the Canada U.S. border May 5th.

RCMP say the Canada border services agency seized a total of 31 kilograms of Cocaine from a vehicle as it tried to re-enter Canada.  The drugs were hidden in floor storage compartments in a Dodge Minivan.

Myers is charged with importation of a controled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

He's scheduled to appear in Penticton court June 8th.

They should thank the gods that they were not caught with their poison in the u.s. of a; they would not be given anywhere near the leniancy shown that they take for granted in good old Canada. The law should be swift and harsh for crimes involving hard drugs, and no mercy. These two jagoffs are contributing to the decay of our society by transporting the poison for the filth that distribute it. I am sure they were promised a large sum of cash for their deed, and they were stupid enough to go through with it. They should be 'forced' to tell the cops who they are smuggling for, and help to catch them too.
