Provincial Sales Tax Talk of the Town

The first meetings of the Small Business Roundtable and the Provincial Sales Tax Review Consultation are underway today here in Prince George.

Minister of Small Business and Revenue, and Minister for Regulatory Reform, Rick Thorpe, is chairing the sessions at the Civic Centre.

The sessions involve members of the local small business community presenting their ideas and concerns aimed at growing small business, while at the same time cutting red tape.

Later in the day, the focus will be on the provincial sales tax policy and administration..
