Prince George, B.C. -  The young man who died  in a motorcycle crash yesterday was 21 year old Dillon Wade Frederick Adey.
RCMP say the young man was northbound on Tabor Boulevard on his 2006, 750cc Suzuiki, when he ran into the back of a 2007 Hyundai Sonata being driven by a 56 year old Prince George man.
Police say the speed of the motorcycle was a significant factor in the fatal crash.
The man in the Hyundai was not hurt.
Adey was in possession of a valid motorcycle learner’s licence at the time of the crash.

why are they allowed to ride such powerful machines when they only have a learners licence?
Its not how powerful the machine is, its how riders choose to ride them.

People who get their learners, have to do a motorcycle skills test before they can ride by themselves. Its made to see if they can control and handle the bike.

From all the reports it was a speed issue, thus meaning the rider chose to speed at that time. (whether he had a learners or not)

My condolences to the family, our thoughts are with you.

My sympathy to the family and friends
I agree, the accident happened because of excessive speed on the motorcyclist's part.
One point, all too often, other drivers pull out in front of another vehicle on the road because they misjudged the others' speed. The speeder is still at fault, and should not be speeding in town, in a residential area especially, but I would not be surprised if the car driver had just pulled out onto Tabor.
My condolences to the family.
