Cougars and Smart Parting Company

Prince George, B.C.- The Prince George Cougars have announced they will not be renewing the contract of Russ Smart, the hockey club’s current Director of Scouting, when it concludes in July.

The club's statement was brief "Russ has been a loyal, hardworking member of the Cougars family over the past 18 years.  The Cougars would like to thank Russ for his service to the organization and wish him and his wife Edith all the best in the future."
