Northern Health Budget Nearly 2.5% Over

Prince George, B.C.- Northern Health has approved it’s budget for the 09/10 year, and it is about 2-2.5% higher than the expected revenue.
"We will achieve a balanced 2009-2010 budget through administrative savings, overtime management, and program efficiencies," says Northern Health Board chair, Dr. Charles Jago, "Northern Health remains committed to our newly established strategic plan focused on high quality health care for northerners.”
Northern Health Board Chair, Dr. Charles Jago says the budget will be $626 million for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2010. That is $17 million dollars more than the ‘08/’09 budget which finished the year with a small surplus.
