P.G. Teen Grabs Gold In National Championship

Prince George, B.C.- Kolton Ferris of the Hart Judo Academy struck gold at the Canadian Junior/Juvenile National Judo Championships in Calgary on the weekend. The 17-year-old Ferris took top honors in the Jr Men plus-100 Kilos Heavyweight Division with a 3-and-1 record.

Eric Halsall of North Capital ended up 5^th in Juvenile Men minus-50 Kilos.

A total of 13 competed from Prince George: 8 from the Hart, 3 from North Capital and 2 from the PG Club.
