Prince George, B.C. - The Prince George Service Canada Centre for Youth (SCCY) is hosting a Frisbee golf tournament today in a bid to get more employment for youth in the city.

The goal behind the tournament and camp-out at Fort George Park is to find 10 casual labour jobs.  Youth Service officer Kyle Flannagan says it is hoped that the tournament will also promote employment by providing job search resources to area youth and networking opportunities for youth and employers.

Flannagan says everyone is welcome to drop by with a Frisbee from 8:30 to 4:30 today and try out the 9 hole course created for the event at the park.

There will also be prizes from the Canada Centre for Youth.

I tried to hire a helper last year but everyone I tried didn't want to work. They just wanted to be employed and get a cheque every two weeks.
Big difference between looking for work and looking for emplyment.
