Glenrosa Fire May be Fully Contained Today

West Kelowna, B.C.- The Glenrosa fire is now 80% contained and crews expect 100% containment later this morning.  Fire suppression personnel are working to create a hand guard on the southern flank of the fire.
 
More people were allowed back in the their homes this morning, with the Gorman Mill and Gellatly Road area being taken off evacuation order, and being placed on Evacuation Alert.
The Rose Valley Dam fire is also 80% contained.
 
Fire crews will be working on containing the fire with heavy equipment and hand guard, and will be supported by helicopter bucketing. Evacuation orders and alerts remain in place.
 
The Terrace Mountain Fire is 30% contained, 100 firefighters are battling this blaze which is now 1055 hectares in size.

They tell me that macho men ride quads. It has been reported that some of these scum have looted peoples homes that were evacuated due to the West Kelowna fire. They most certainly are real macho types. They probably belong to the same group of sledders and quaders that run through farmers crops and harass wildlife. Some people just have no class or sense.
