Prince George, B.C.- RCMP in Prince George are looking for a witness who followed two First Nations males in downtown Prince George on Sunday after a local lawyer was beaten.
RCMP say the two assailants are described as clean shaven and in their late 20’s or early 30’s.
One had a short, almost crew cut type of hair cut. He was wearing a green sweat shirt and black pants. The second assailant had long hair parted in the middle, and was wearing a black t-shirt black pants and shoes.
The 55 year old victim was beaten, possibly with a golf club, when he stepped out of the Royal Bank building around 7:00 Sunday evening. The two assailants demanded money, but didn’t get any. The attack stopped when a man and his daughter pulled up to the curb. The victim’s jaw was broken in the attack.
Police say they would like to speak with the driver of a silver Jetta, who followed the two suspects east on 5th Avenue until they turned north on to Quebec Street.
That person, or anyone with information on this assault, is asked to contact the Prince George detachment of the RCMP at 250-561-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
