Prince George, B.C.- RCMP in Prince George are looking for a witness who followed two First Nations males in downtown Prince George on Sunday after a local lawyer was beaten.
RCMP say the two assailants are described as clean shaven and in their late 20’s or early 30’s.
One had a short, almost crew cut type of hair cut. He was wearing a green sweat shirt and black pants. The second assailant had long hair parted in the middle, and was wearing a black t-shirt black pants and shoes.
The 55 year old victim was beaten, possibly with a golf club, when he stepped out of the Royal Bank building around 7:00 Sunday evening. The two assailants demanded money, but didn’t get any. The attack stopped when a man and his daughter pulled up to the curb. The victim’s jaw was broken in the attack.
Police say they would like to speak with the driver of a silver Jetta, who followed the two suspects east on 5th Avenue until they turned north on to Quebec Street.
That person, or anyone with information on this assault, is asked to contact the Prince George detachment of the RCMP at 250-561-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

Low life scum bags. Too lazy to work for a living, so they take from others. I say put them out of commission until they become productive members of society and give more than they take. Isn't it time we stood up for each other and dealt with the dirt bags the way they are dealing with everyone else?
And the mayor wants to cut police funding....hmmmm
No mention of video evidence.

Do cops care? I personally witnessed a cop threatening a victim with a "Henry Gates" arrest if he persisted in his demands that police canvass video sources, to address his complaint. Cops work when they need a quota arrest - one every 2 to 4 weeks - and will go to extraordinary steps to evade protective service.

With police, everything is about their career and "officer safety" interest. If you hear a do-nut dunker saying to colleagues, "I'm 12 years in," that means he is within 13 years of his 90% of wages' pension. When they get that, they either get double wages in their same entity, or they get another job. Vancouver's transit cops - less than worthless slugs - rake in over $80,000 per year for nothing. Until recently, they would routinely taser people for non-payment of fares.

I don't advocate abolishing cops; I would abolish cop independence. That is a recipe for unaffordability.
A golf club ?

Now it is sounding like the main intent of the crime was to do bodily harm. Demanding money just makes it look like a robbery to detract from the real intent.

Was this a reprisal attack ?

That would narrow down the list of suspects in a hurry.
Wasn't there a local drug thug whose favorite MO was to use a golf club to inflict bodily harm on people he had issues with ?
They coudn't track a menstruating elephant through 4 ft of snow.
Truth - take a pill and chill out.......
I echo that, greta.
