PGX Opens Later This Morning

Main Gates of the PGX will open at 10:00 this morning.
Prince George, B.C. – This is it, the opening day of the PGX.
This year, the fair has added a day to its duration making it five days.
The theme of this, the 97th edition of the PGX is “Feel the Horsepower” and to get everyone in the mood, today is Wacky West Coast Wednesday. If you wear a cowboy hat, you will get $2.00 off the price of admission.
Admission prices (unless you bought tickets in advance) are:
General Admission, (ages 13-59 ) $10.00
Senior (60+) $8.50
Youth (6-12) $7.50
Kids (5 and under) FREE
While the gates are open at 10:00 this morning, the opening ceremonies are set for 6:00 tonight with the ribbon cutting that will officially open the 97th edition of the PGX. That will be followed by the Presidents Invitation only reception and dinner.
Today through Saturday, the admission gates are open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
All gates are EXIT ONLY after 10:00 p.m.
4H and Livestock areas are open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Kin Centres are open 10:00 a.m. -9:00 p.m. ( open at 8 am for Vendor access)
Food Court: open 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
10:00 am–2:00 pm 4‐H Rabbit Classes 4‐H Barn
2:00 pm–4:00 pm Horse Showmanship Agriplex
5:00 pm–7:00 pm 4‐H Dog 4‐H Barn
 
As for Musical Entertainment, throughout the five days, be entertained by the Legends Live in Concert with Daryl Weyman as Johnny Cash, Troy Gibson as Roy Orbison and Steve Hills as Garth Brooks.
