Quesnel Gets Fed Dough

Quesnel B.C. - The City of Quesnel has received $ 208,000 to replace the water filtration system for its swimming and leisure pools and expand the fitness and weight room at the Quesnel and District Arts and Recreation Center.

The grant announced today by MP Dick Harris will replace the existing water filtration system with a safer, cost efficient and environmentally friendly sand system which is expected to have long term health benefits for pool users.

The money is part of the Recreational Infrastructure Canada program.
