Ryan Jenkins is dead. His body was found in a motel in Hope earlier today.  At this time it appears he took his own life.

Jenkins, a Calgary native, was wanted on first-degree murder charges in Orange County, Calif., in connection with the death of his ex-wife, Jasmine Fiore. Her mutilated body was found in a southeast Los Angeles dumpster last weekend.

Because her teeth and fingers had been removed, investigators had to identify the body by the serial numbers on her breast implants.

Officials say the 28 year old model had been badly beaten and other reports indicate she had been strangled.

Jenkins, a Calgary realtor and reality show participant, has been the number one suspect since Jasmine’s body was found. Earlier this week, Jenkins boat was discovered at Point Roberts.

RCMP indicated earlier today they had information to believe Jenkins was indeed in Canada. This hour, Police are holding a news conference on the details of Jenkins’ death.

The investigation into the circumstances of Ryan Jenkins' death continues.

RCMP  say they were called to the motel this afternoon  after staff  found his body  in  the room.

Is there a local connection?
yeah if not who cares. Go read about somewhere else.
He was dangerous and we should be informed as to where he could be headed to, so we could lock our doors and warn our family.
He made it from the U.S.A. to Hope, and was from Alberta, seems to me he could of passed through P.G.if he was heading home.
Hells angels are dangerous too. So is crossing the street. The guys a whacko; a dead one. He didn't want to kill everyone - - just his old lady.
with him dead, the justice system in both countries will save millions of dollars in legal costs.
Let this be a lesson to all those people that watch reality TV every night. Remember the twisted story of Ryan Jenkins and Jasmine Fiore every time you watch that crap and realize that kind of TV is their kind of values.

Oh please, Eagleone, stop being so melodramatic. This stuff happens in the non-reality TV world as well, your own personal biases notwithstanding.
Me too. I am biased against 'reality t.v.
I think it foments mind rot. Get outside, take your dog for a walk, weed the garden, wash the truck, anything but (most of) the garbage on television. Reality, get real!
In fact, reality is, I don't like Mondays either!
