P.G.Group Gets Dollars to Help Challenged Find Work

Prince George, B.C. - A Prince George organization is among eleven in the Province to share in $1.8 million in provincial funding to provide employment services for people with learning, developmental, mental health and other neurological disabilities.
 
The Prince George Society for the Employment of Persons, DBA Employment Action, services Prince George and surrounding communities. The amount of funding has not been disclosed.
 
In all, an anticipated 568 individuals will benefit from the services provided by the eleven organizations over the three year contract term.
 
Service providers will work with the individual, their family and the community to create employment situations that embrace the individual's "ideal conditions of employment," and provide necessary workplace supports, both to the individual and employers.
