Quesnel, B.C.– The City of Quesnel is lifting the hourly water restrictions it put in place in late July, effective immediately. With the excessive heat of the summer behind us, the City’s utilities department has indicated there is no longer a need for hourly restrictions.
However, the odd- and even-numbered-address restrictions remain in place until Sept. 30
Residents living at odd-numbered street addresses may water on odd calendar dates, while those at even-numbered addresses may water on even dates. For example, today, Sept. 2, residents who have an address ending with an even number may water their lawns and gardens.
The City thanks its residents for being so co-operative during the hourly restriction period.
