Terry Fox Run Set for Sunday

Prince George, B.C.- The stage is set for another Terry Fox Run in Prince George. 
This Sunday, the annual event will get underway at 10:00 a.m.
Organizer Liza Arnold says the registration desk will be open at 9:00 on Sunday at the Community Foundation Park in front of the Four Seasons Pool.
The run is expected to field about 600 participants.
“We have about 50 volunteers who will be helping out on Sunday” says Arnold, “There are some extra treats, for instance Boston Pizza is providing a pizza lunch to the school that has the most participants. Anyone who collects pledges of $50 dollars or more can have their name I a draw for a gift certificate.
Arnold says they are aware of the challenges the current economy poses for events like this “It will be interesting to see what impact the economy will have, but typically, we raise   around $12 thousand to $13 thousand dollars.”
