Smoke and mirrors, with a healthy dose of political rhetoric thrown in for good measure.
Probably done to make people think the government really gives a damn!
How many times has this already been done?
If the government hasn't figured out what people want in a healthcare program yet and where the bottlenecks are, there is not much more we can do to explain it!
And at a time when it is all about cut,cut,cut,....what's the point?
How much do these "discussions" cost us?
Anything in regards to changes or improvements that might cost money, will be ignored!
PREVENTION!!! We can't afford to keep being reactive.
Hire more doctors
Staff the operating rooms for 24/7 service
Send drunks to the drunk tank
Ban junk food
make healthy food affordable
Remove alcohol and tobacco from public distribution
Open season on addicts and thieves
Send morbidly obese people to weight control programs
Eugenics work! Sterilize anyone with more than two kids, with genetic or hereditary anomalies
Remove arbitrary speed limits from major roads
Support local farmers
Enforce effluent laws
Enforce and tighten air shed contamination laws (PACHA)
more real community events to get people socializing and active (a no cost solution)

Ahh, what's the use, nothing that would make sense or actually work will be implemented.

Blowing smoke up our collective behinds!

The government is asking for our input. When I sent them input, they sent me a nice response and I quote:
"Dear liberal supporter, ....

I wrote them a damn nasty letter. LOL
Send them your list and see what you get?
