PRINCE GEORGE, BC - Goaltender Alex Wright has rejoined the Prince George Spruce Kings, having returned from the Spokane Chiefs. After spending some time with the Western Hockey League team during their training camp and exhibition schedule, Alex returned to Prince George earlier this week and immediately began skating with the Spruce Kings.

"I am very excited to be back and playing for my hometown team," said Wright. "I had a good season here last year and I plan on having a better season this year. This is a great opportunity for me and I want to see us start putting up some wins."

Alex Wright and the rest of the Prince George Spruce Kings will embark on their first road trip of the season with the short hop to Quesnel for a mid-week meeting with the Millionaires. Game time from the Quesnel Twin Arenas is 7:00pm with the game being broadcast on 93.1 CFIS-FM and accesible online here on  Opinion250 ( click on the microphone on the homepage)  or online through the Spruce Kings website.

Don't expect any better results this year than the last 3 or 4......Same coach same coaching = same results. Hard to believe they signed Dempsey for another 2 years of mediocre hockey (at best)!
