Perhaps some of that money could be used to fix some of the roads up. Then we could go a bit faster. That would allow them to give out more tickets. Seems like a great investment strategy for the city and the province. Done correctly, they would also be able to hire more officers thus increasing their revenue even more.
How come you never see anyone getting a ticket for pulling out of the police station on 5th when they turn east and cross 2 lanes then over a double solid line.
Glad I could help.... Not!
Not too sure doneright, that there is anything wrong with that and therefore why no fine. Now if you are traveling in the lane, and pass over the double solid line to pass someone, that would be a fine but not when turning onto a street.

I could be wrong though.
They have been doing what doneright says for years, and I have always thought that it was illegal and I still think so. They have to cross two west bound lanes and then over the road divider lines, turning left to go East, which also means crossing the Eastbound left turn lane.

In any event the reason they dont get any tickets is because they are or work for the Police.
But it can be done safely. It happens every day about 100 times on Victoria at Redwood square. No tickets there either
