Prince George,. B.C.- Today is Brett Connolly Day in Price George, and how fitting that the 6'1" right winger should hear that, according to TSN,  he is ranked number 5 overall  in their top ten  draft prospects fo the 2010 NHL entry draft.

TSN's assessment of Connolly  is  that "“Injury limited his effectiveness for Canada at the U-18 tourney in August – he got hurt in the first game, sat out the next two before dressing for the gold-medal game -- but his excellent production for Prince George in the WHL last year has demonstrated he's a smooth and polished offensive performer who plays the game with a great deal of confidence.”

The Sports Network  pegs two Windsor Spitfire team mates, Taylor Hall, and  Cam Fowler as numbers one and two  respectively for the draft.

Weren't they saying that about the fella from California who was associated to the San Jose Sharks and got injured while playing for the cougars? He got released by them. If connelly can stay fit hopefully he won't be dumped like the others.
