Prince George- A home invasion at a suite in the apartment complex at 1601 Queensway sent the occupant of the suite to hospital last night after three or four unknown males forced their way into his apartment.

At around midnight Sunday the man answered the door and the three forced open the door and began beating him with some sort of edged weapon. They then took several items from the apartment and fled.

They are described as all being Caucasian, average height. One suspect was wearing a black hoody, another a white hoody, a third was described as the largest of the three, wearing a black jacket and having curly hair.

As long as the US considers pot illegal, it will be here as well. I'm sure there would be some who would love to smoke dope 24/7 without having to worry about getting busted, but it ain't happening in our lifetimes.
Yeah it is true, and plus think of how much money that would take out of BC's economy. Not to mention all the cutbacks and job losses that would occur. (talking if marijuana was legalized)
deadbugs grow op must of got raided this year lol but ya i agree no one smokes a joint before they go knock off the 7-11 we get too damm lazy to walk outside at midnight let alone go rob someone lol
Methinks some of the opinion250 posters need to look up the term "libel".
Actually I do not grow weed and do not smoke weed. Watch the movie:"The Union The Buisness Behind Getting High." It is a real eye opener. That is where I developed my opinion on the matter.

Agreed. That doesn't explain how some comments about Gordo get left on while others don't.
reefer madness is the movie for laughs
A Home invasion would be horrible , we sure do not need more problems on Queensway. We still have the big drug van driveing around trying to give out needles, we don't want it in our neighbourhood they are trying to keep the Drugies in this area. The new proposed wellness centre should be put in the Native Friendship Center there is lots of room in that huge building to centralize a handful of social agencies.
If you're thinking BC won't legalize dope, you're dead wrong. This Liberal government will stop at nothing for more cash. The only thing stopping him is the USA and that won't be for very long. Don't forget there's a liberal in the Pesidents chair now--no more bible thumping republicans. Give Gordo another term and we will be begging for mercy at his feet. He's the Canadian equvalent of Saddam.
Legalized and taxed pot would be a huge boon to the economy.
A convenience store on every corner.
Don't bogart those doritoes man!
So, people don't want the HST, but they don't mind pot being taxed. Weird.
No too weird,
HST is being raped by senior levels of government, taxation of pot is no different than any other luxury tax as on alcohol and tobacco.
Or going to restaurants... maybe that was a bad example.
