Prince George, B.C.- Today will go in the weather record books as the hottest September 23rd in Prince George on record.
The old mark was 25.4 Celsius, set in 1990. The thermometer hit 29.4 Celsius today, but this extended summer is about to end.
A cold front will move in tonight, and the overnight low will be about 7 and tomorrow’s high is expected to be about 18.
The weekend is predicted to be cooler with a high of  19 Friday, sunny and eleven Saturday. On Sunday, we’re sunny again, with a high of 13, but come Monday, the “S” word appears for the first time this season, as there is a 40% chance of rain showers or Snow flurries, more of the same for Tuesday.

It had to happen but at least I'm ready this year -- first time since 1964.
These are the same people who declared in early august we would not hit 30C again this year. These guys couldn't predict the weather 5 minutes from now, nevermind 5 days.
I agree with gamblor.....I think the weather people have a dart board to predict what will happend and they are lowsy shots!!
They also try to predict climate change, what a laugh.
What a great summer. It *almost* made up for last winter.
It is still summer until tomorrow or the next day or maybe--?
