Charge Laid in Salmon Valley Killing

Prince George, B.C. – An arrest has been made and charges laid in connection with a fatal shooting in Salmon Valley of nearly a year ago.
 
Fifty five year old Gerald Pattison has been arrested and charged with second degree murder in the shooting death of  27 year old Ryan Edward Hibbs. Hibbs was shot to death October 17th at a Salmon Valley residence.
 
Pattison is best known in the community as being the former promoter of the Salmon Valley Music Festival, an event that drew top country acts to Salmon Valley.
 
Pattison was arrested this morning and is being held in custody.
