Spruce Kings Lose In Williams Lake

Williams Lake – The Williams Lake Timberwolves doubled the Spruce Kings last night. It was the second loss in as many nights  for the Spruce Kings, who fell 5-3 to Surrey Friday at the PG Coliseum.

 Timberwolves goalie Kirk Croswell made 49 saves as PG outshot the hosts 51-27. Trent Murdoch led WL with two goals and an assist. Zac Rasmussen (SH) and Joe Morgan (PP) tallied for the Spruce Kings, who trailed 3-0 after one period. Starting goalie Kyle Nielsen was replaced after giving up 5 goals on 8 shots in the first 14 1/2 minutes of the game.
