Prince George, B.C. – The CN  Centre is  set to celebrate the goodwill of Oktoberfest.

 

This Saturday, you are encouraged to bring your empty bottles, cans, and beverage containers to the CN Centre,  from 10 am to 3 pm. All proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society – and the Northern Cancer Lodge.

 

Volunteers from the Canadian Cancer Society, and staff from Molsons, will be on hand to help empty your vehicles. Fundraising efforts are supported by the Nechako Bottle Depot.

 

There will  be  a chance to win  some prizes including tickets to Oktoberfest  which will take over the CN Centre later that evening. The Prince George Oktoberfest features all the great fun of Bavaria’s Oktoberfest festivals - including German food, dancing, give-aways, and games. Music will be provided by The Continentals – Vancouver’s legendary Oktoberfest band.

 

Partial proceeds from the event will support the Canadian Cancer Society and the Northern Cancer Lodge.
