The Prince George Spruce Kings  suffered  their 4th consecutive loss and 3rd on home ice in just 4 days.

The league-leading Vipers improved to 14-and-1 as they built up period leads and 2-0 and 4-1 before 1103 fans at the Coliseum.

Alex Wright made 36 saves as Vernon outshot PG 41-19. Vipers went 2/3 on the PP and the hosts were 0-2 with the man advantage.

Sam Muchalla notched the only goal for the Spruce Kings for the second consecutive game as they also lost 5-1 to Powell River Friday
