Business Person of the Year - Sam Kirsch. Why on earth would the Ramada let this fellow leave????
My exact feelings!

I've known Sam for a few years now, I'm so glad that he's decided to stay with Prince George. We need more forward thinking people in this town, who bring innovative solutions to our downtown woes.

Hip Hip HOORAY!

(Sam you're likely blushing if you're reading this, but your modesty goes against my honesty)
I suspect the chinese restaurants made the bottom of the list for corporate citizen for 1-50 employees. Actually, they would win the award for worst place to work for. I have lots of experience due to working for one for many years....

Then why not find a different place to work? Not trying to argue, just curious.
Congratulations Sam! Very well desrved.

Too bad that the Mayor and his task force could not get their act together quickly enough to save your job.

The "real" people that are trying to save downtown will miss your wisdom and influence.
"the Mayor and his task force could not get their act together quickly enough to save your job"

???? A 30 year old problem saved by the mayor and his task force in under a year ..... Wow!!!! And here I thought Superman was a comic book hero.
Did you not read Elaine's notice about cleaning up the comments posted on this site?
What do Chinese restaurants have to do with this story?! NOTHING!!
How they treat their employees and their food standard is what I mean. By the way, I am looking for another job but the economy is not the best to find work (if you haven't noticed).
I did not realize ANY restaurants were nominated.
